Frank Thayer

Frank is a Managing Partner of Lindsey & Company and is based in our Chapel Hill office where he leads our healthcare practice.

Prior to joining Lindsey, Frank spent 30 years in the healthcare business. He spent the last ten years directing all executive and physician recruitment at Memorial University Medical Center a $1.2B academic medical center and healthcare system in Savannah, Georgia...

Frank has extensive healthcare operations, consulting and business development experience. Before joining Memorial, Frank was a Vice-President for Operations for the St. Joseph/Candler Health System in Savannah. Prior to his work in Savannah, Frank was a Chief Operations Officer and Executive Director for two healthcare organizations.

His consulting work involved business development and operations consulting to large multi-specialty physician groups throughout the country. He eventually was named COO for his largest client, a 65 member multi-specialty academic practice plan. Frank also served as Director of Shared Services for a six-hospital consortium in Baltimore, MD.

Frank graduated with a B.A. degree in English from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He also has a Masters of Health Administration from Duke University.

Frank served as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army and was in charge of a joint medical dispensary providing healthcare to field helicopter and tank crews.

Frank is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the American Hospital Association (AHA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the American Academy of Medical Management (AAMM) and AIRS where he was certified him as an advanced internet recruiter (CAIR)
